Scott
Tyson, hands down. He was un-tireable in his time and thats what Ali depended on with his defence. Tyson was just an animal in his prime.
tooquicktostop
I think Tyson at his best would have won, he was awesome

The Raven
I had to vote Ali, im not sure Mike could get near the man thus leaving him to tire out before Ali lowered the boom
chris2o2
Tyson - Spinks fight - you think anyone would have touched Tyson that night ? Im more of an Ali fan though .
Axle
Ali without a Shadow of doubt. I was a big Tyson fan, but true boxing fans who have boxed themselves will 9 times out of 10 say Ali. He was simply the best. He had a very underrated Jaw. Tyson had abit of a glass Jaw to be fair. You want to talk about tenacious fighters? George Foreman destroyed all in his path (before Rumble in the Jungle). He was the bigger badder version of Tyson back then. Ali had it all. adnanshah247
Ask any boxer, what makes a solid fighter? its not one who can give a beating but also come back from one. Ali hands down will have him.

TopgunTT
This is a real interesting thread, I expect alot of us on here have done boxing sometime in their life so everyone will have a different opinion, I personnally don't think Ali would get up if Tyson caught him right, Saying that Ali really was a geat boxer. Axle
I expect alot of us on here have done boxing sometime in their life I doubt it. Unless your talking about going into a boxing ring and throwing a few punches against someone. Because that doesnt cut it imo.

No, I'm talking about amatuer boxing, Not professional, with some qualified coaches, I suppose you can argue that amatuer is just knocknig the hell out of each other, But thats where they all start. There are alot of fella's on here and im sure alot of them sometime or another have had some fights in the ring the past. mikeyb10supra
As much as I have upmost respect for Ali and he simply is a world great, with both fighters in there prime I would have to say Tyson would win and probably with a KO....the guy was simply an animal in his prime there was no other fighter like him, ridiculously aggressive, probably as quick as a middleweight fighter with insane power to back it up...he was just relentless with some of his combinations...I would defy any fighter to stop him in full flow
AndrewOW
Er, Bugger. lol, beat me to it... Damn. This question is a difficult one. I think the winner would be Don King
