dani_r
I'm thinking about playing around with some carbon fibre sheets, looking mainly at the dash panels. Has anyone ever had a play around with carbon fibre? This is the website I've found for the sheets: http://www.carbonmods.co.uk/Products/Wet-Lay-Carbon-Fibre-Sheet__CMFCS1MM.aspx I'm trying to source a donor set of pre-facelift dash panels to try it out on, so if anyone would like to donate a set of knackered ones or has some to sell i'd be interested. dani_r
So how do people do it? I thought that they just used sheets of CF then resin on top, perhaps not that simple but isn't that the basic idea?

Think most people go this route. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TOYOTA-SUPRA-93-94-98-REAL-CARBON-FIBER-DASH-KIT-TRIM_W0QQitemZ120319673757QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item120319673757&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1301%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318

Luka-P
It sticks over the existing panels. It leaves a rim around the cover where you can see the panel below. Have you seen a Flocked dash?

imi
It will not work those sheets to not bend enough to be able to wrap dash panels apologies for bringing this back from the dead, so what thickness would be best suited for supra dash panels?
