Alex
Somebody bought me Fallout3 GOTY. Loaded it over the top of my existing Fallout3 but dont seem to be able to find the new 'radio signals' that are supposed to be there. Am I being fick? And yes, I did run setup on BOTH disks. thanks Which version? PS3, PC, XBOX? I bought my PC Version of the expansion packs on "Games For Windows Live" and I can't use them unless I'm signed onto that service (like MSN). I think you have to have a GfWL account to get any of the good content to run...PITA imo as I've paid the money and don't see why I should jump through hoops to play it. I'd check the manual/back of the box, it should confirm what you need to do. Xbox prolly needs you signed into Xbox Live and PS3 the PS Network... Branners
it is the PC version. Tried everything now including running the 1.7 patch, and whenever I go to finish the main quest it just finishes. I will do the Live thing later and see if that helps. Bloody annoyed if that is what it is as the manual says nothing about that. Infact it just says you have to finish the main question to do Broken Steel, and nothing else.
colsoop
I haven't played in a while but seem to remember going back to the citadel and then getting new missions from there. As for point lookout you go down to the waters edge, next to the giant ship and there is a little ferry there which takes you to point lookout. Edit: this based on xbox version. I had to start from scratch with the expansion packs and when I did it loaded the other radio signals from the start. I've done the spaceship zeta one and the Point Lookout one...you can go to them anytime if it's loaded right...but obviously I wouldn't till I was a lvl20+ baddass They are in the map and the radio signals if availble. I DONT WANT TO START AGAIN My cunning plan is to do a savegame now I have paatched it up and see if that helps.
Konrad
You do not have to start again. Just start up CD with 1.7 patch, choose Data Files and tick addon you want to play. Start up game and wait

Alex
Bump Fallout: New Vegas is available on Steam and other pre-order places now...and if you do pre-rder you get bonus material in-game. http://fallout.bethsoft.com/eng/home/home.php
Ian C
Is the bonus "it actually works unlike the last three DLC packs" and will it then get broken in order to cater for a tiny new Mac population, much like everything else on Steam? Just wondering, before I shell out like.

Homer
Good stuff Fallout 3 was my fav game evar, just hope they don't tone down the gameplay and graphics to cater for the console market... Fallout 3 and the DLC's worked fine for me from Stream, didn't realise there were issues for others

Any ideas? Do you actually have broken steel installed? That's what raises the level cap from 20 to 30.

Septic
Was playing this last night on account of my internet not working. I'm so tempted to nuke Megaton. I know, first my unhealthy obsession with nukes on cod and now this. Maybe its in my genes.

Purity14
Make sure your karma is correctly aligned for hiring that guy. Personally I just killed him and looted his house, but thats just how I roll during/after an apocolypse.
