robin
I am at level 20 and completed about 30 missions. But I have a problem with getting Dr.Li out of the sewer and up to the Citadel.I have cleared everything in the sewer tunnel but she don't want to move beyond a junction point somewhere under ground.Stupid cow. Anyone else had problem with getting this woman out into daylight? Try installing the latest patch. I think this was a known bug. Else maybe go back to an earlier save and try again. Marty
Not always. Besides ammo is limited and it's fairly fragile. With regard to having to return to Megaton for supplies. You don't really need to. With some thorough exploring you can often carry more than enough of anything. I you can find a safe 'house' you can leave items in any 'container' therein. I haven't been back to Megaton since the early days of the game. Spolier If you disarm the bomb in megatron you get given a house there, with plenty of spare space for storing goodies, as well as a lab to make chems, and a healing centre. Thats where i store all my stuff, heal my rads and health, and get chems

Cheers, I think upon reflection, the problem's also down to my style of play, I'm quite heavy on the trigger (Although I've been trying to keep it to using VATS, and only going for the high % shots), but I'll give it another go, worth mentioning that I don't really go for stealth at all, and like to go all out, maybe why I'm Lv 7 and haven't found the Radio Station yet... lol

Branners
Im thinking perhaps I should read the instructions better. Played it for about 6 hours now and only just worked out the VATS stuff. Made things so much easier. Really enjoying the game, much better than Far Cry 2. JB
Konrad
VATS is only reasonable way to kill masses and keep ammo, I was shooting things without VATS only when enemies wanted to keep me on distance and didn't move too much. Once you got your hands on laser rifle and get Action Boy there is not many enemies which will survive 6 shots onto head
Mike
Paradise Falls is a bit of a crack isn't it? I'm tempted to get armed to the teeth and take them all out.... is that a wise idea? anyone done it this way?

I'm in a similar dilemma...I don't know if I can be arsed to get some slaves...I'd rather murder them all. Save first, try the short cut... - then shoot the kid that tells you to go there if you don't manage to get his people back

Save first, try the short cut... - then shoot the kid that tells you to go there if you don't manage to get his people back I gave them that old git from Minefield to get in... then (I'm a Paragon!) I didn't want to do any more or the nice lady in Megaton might stop giving me random stuff every time I go back there I did initially start blasting, but not in an serious way... you need to be fully loaded to do it. I think I took three of them out before I began to regret what I'd started!? I'm thinking finish the Nuka Cola challenge, get the 2,400 caps or whatever it is... then load up and have a showdown! Dam Slavers don't know what they're messing with
Alex
Nuka Cola challenge? The old git from the minefield is long since dead for me...didn't know you could avoid killing him, seeing as he tried to take my head off with a sniper rifle! I found it legitimately, and I don't want to spoil anything for you! It's basically 'collect 30 Quantum Nuka Cola bottles'... and they pay caps a plenty. If you want more details... I've recently started having a sneaky peak at this.. I've put in about 60 hours on this now.. so I really want to get the highlights before I start again as a bad guy

I'm tempted to get armed to the teeth and take them all out.... is that a wise idea? anyone done it this way? I destroyed the whole place and came out with some good stuff. But i also killed everyone in megathon took all the shopkeepers wares, then fitted the relay to the bomb and blew megathon up. I live at tenpenny towers which is alot nicer and easier to get around.. i hated all that up and down stuff. It does not have any effect on the main quest. Main skills: Unarmed Combat (good with iron fist + spikes) Small Guns Repair (THIS IS A MUST IMO) Medicine Lockpicking

Ive found that the minigun + flamer are just a waste of time. Close Range: Combat Shotgun Medium Range: SMG/Assault rifle + Frag Grenades Long Range: Hunting Rife Are faster at getting rid of the hoard

caseys
What's this game like on what graphics cards on the PC? Reading all this and really tempted by this game now I have a PS3 but would like to be able to get downloadable content. Currently I've got a 4-core 2.66Ghz Xeon machine, but a crappy 1900XT Radeon card. Would like to play the game at a high resolution. Worthwhile upgrading my graphics card or just buy it for PS3 and suffer the lack of DLC?
Ric
mines excellent at high everything without HDR on a 8800GTX card at 2560x1600 no AA though
Jay_vr6
1920x1200 with everything on high on my 3870 with no problems whatsoever. try this review for an idea of performance, x1950xt versus 3850 and 3870, http://www.anandtech.com/video/showdoc.aspx?i=3151&p=

I assume I shouldn't try running Vista I'd like to run this at 1920x1200 or such maybe with AA. I've got 11Gb of ram, but I doubt that's gonna help graphics really as I bet it's mostly GPU nowadays? I'm limited to buying an 8800GT/GTX, or Radeon 3850/3870 or 4850/4870 X2s. I long for the day I just nipped down the shops and bought the latest Voodoo2/Voodoo3 card. I loved those things. I'm tempted to get armed to the teeth and take them all out.... is that a wise idea? anyone done it this way? Piece of cake with laser/plasma rifle I went through after refusing to get slaves and poor sod attacked me (well actually 20+ poor sods attacked me). VATS + good cover point does miracles Mind you, my Charisma is 1, I'm proper tank guy with all perks towards armed combat Worst enemy up to date was this bloody massive behemoth who was chasing me around train in some random bandits camp. Chinese assault rifle and sniper rifle action took him out tho Suprisingly noone is saying a word when you turn up in towns followed by massive super mutant Fawkes. This guy is good to have around in times of crisis, he is doing good job with Gauss minigun. I have NVidia 9800GT graphic card and no probs 1280x1024 with full blown effects.
