Jellybean
Just about to purchase some chromed turbo pipes/ VAC. Is it a good idea to change these over or will it open a can of worms with regards reliabilty? If it ant broke dont fix it 4 chromed turbo pipes. 1 polished AICV pipe with actuator. Jellybean
What is the norm pre-caution, get the pipes flow tested because I am also getting the Pletnum and Throttle body off John next Month
Steviekid
What is the norm pre-caution, get the pipes flow tested because I am also getting the Pletnum and Throttle body off John next Month I wouldn't bother. The chances of a hole in one is highly unlikely unless there's obvious damage. You're far more likely to get a leak through a bad connection/split in one of the silicone or rubber hoses you'll connect them all up with. Its usually only injectors that need such treatment. Edited December 30, 2008 by mikeyb10supra (see edit history)
Jellybean
The Flow Tested - I mean just test the pipes have no defects by testing them on a flow bench to see if they hold pressure So Visual inspection it is, cool thanks guys
