Chris Wilson
http://www.racecarsdirect.com/listing/21808/Nemesis_RME96_Supersports_Car.html Still a VERY fast bit of kit with frugal running costs. these were nearly 20K not long ago....Far more durable than a Radical, pretty well made cars, with a good pedigree. AlanM
Seems very cheap, are they all coming down in price like that?

Yes, but can you drive it on the road to the track?
bignum
You`d go past pretty much everything on the track with that, cheap aswell,
Chris Wilson
Yes, but can you drive it on the road to the track? No, it won't have lights, it's far too low, no handbrake, a pure race car, a trailer job.
grahamc
No, it won't have lights, it's far too low, no handbrake, a pure race car, a trailer job. looks like it could be fun!! I am going to start in a road going car, but if I really like it, will consider something like this.
JamieP
Reckon my 6ft5 fat arse would fit in that?
Chris Wilson
Seems very cheap, are they all coming down in price like that? Dermot always buys right, and sells right, so if he thinks it's worth that money, odds are it's spot on. He doesn't advertise at silly money for months on end, instead he prefers a quick turnover at a modest profit. So yes, that will reflect the market. or depends if you are a buyer or a seller! Thorin
Is that the old 2.0 Vauxhall engine?
Chris Wilson
Yep, on an MBE ignition only ECU and side draught DCOE 45 Webers. Mild tune, potential to get a LOT more grunt from it, but even as is it would lap a BPU MKIV TT in about 3 laps of Oulton. So it's a serious thing. Early nineties F3 times as is, LOADS of downforce. ivan
Has it got over 600bhp? Thought not - Johnnie won't like it then.
Chris Wilson
About 200 tops, but power to weight is awesome, and add in downforce and suspension geo, plus slicks, and it's a VERY developed package. Forget road cars, different level altogether. Buy a Murcielago and then get very *issed off why a sub £10K car makes it look like a milk float. scooby_doo_do
Chris - Slightly off topic, but any idea what my Ultima would be like on the track? I'm thinking of doing one in the summer at some point - but need to get the car all checked out and tuned properly first - i'm convinced it's overfuelling, and i can't seem to judge the oil level on the dipstick as it's hitting the tube on the way out - taking it to a specialist up the road when it's warmer! I'm guessing the brakes would need to be upgraded at the minimum? - I lost out to a set of AP's yesterday.. gutted. Craig.
Chris Wilson
The few I have seen have been very good, assuming money is spent on the brakes, as you say. You may want to fit an Accusump, can't recall whether the sump is stock or not. On slicks it should be very quick, on road tyres still rapid
