Mrs H
That really is tragic and pointless. Hope they throw the book at the person responsible I won't go near a pub over Christmas or New Year it is just not worth the hassle! Havard
Tragic!! Even more tragic is that the lad involved will probably get about 24 months in jail at best...... His pointless and selfish actions have destroyed the lives of so many people but it will still be classed as Manslaughter...... How about a legal system that looks at the culprit through eyes that see......pointless agression and an unneccessary act has brought about the death of a young mother. Therefore the punishment should be 10 - 15 years inside. This was not an accident was it?? H.

This was intented to cause maximum effect and for that poor lady and her 3 young kids it has IMO it is excatly the same a shooting a gun into a crowd. you intent to kill or seriously hurt somebody!!!!! It must be so frustrating for both the family and cops when they get told not to do it again! k x

If the answer is yes then he should have the book thrown at him. Penalties these days are based on what happened. The fact that someone was lucky not to kill someone else was overlooked as it isn't a problem until someone dies...... I think if you are doing something "wrong" ie violence, theft, burglary etc, then it should be an open book when it comes to punishment. At the end of the day, if you are not a scrote then you should have little to worry about. H.
