Willson
Alright fellas, I am looking for a boost cut remover. Mkiv.com 'highly recommends' the BCC and rates the FCD as 'not recommended'. I read the explanation and it seems reasonable. Yet everyone here seems to go FCD. Can anyone explain why? Alex
A lot of people on here go for a raised limit FCD not a complete FCD. The TRL FCD allows you to run at 18psi without cut
Terminator
The TRL unit will still provide cut above 18psi or 1.2 bar, the considered safe limit. Other units fool the engine into thinking it is is running a lower safe, boost level no matter what the real level.
randy
I have found that the BCC is a better one, as you could also make your car cut off at a required boost level by increasing the volt output on the BCC. And also in future if you are upgrading to a hybrid or big single it can accomodate higher boost levels 1.3+bar. IMO--BCC:thumbs:
Willson
Cheers for the info, I think I'll still go with BCC though. Gordon.
