dani_r
Just went to the Blitz website to look at ordering some new exhaust gaskets for my new Nur Spec and when it came to check-out time I was greeted with these outrageous postage charges! Can someone please explain to me how they can justify these charges? They would fit in a small envelope and cost £1 to send in a jiffy bag! Some people take the p*ss:complain:
SatSport
If these are for 2.5 or 3" bore i`m sure i got some off Chris Wilson in here.
RobSheffield
Its probably being sent recorded/special delivery, plus the cost of the jiffy too. Hardly 'outrageous'. Maybe 'a little bit high'
Branners
pretty much standard shipping. Its an online shop which doesnt differentiate between that and an airfilter etc. Try buying IT stuff from people like Insight, standard charge of £10 on everything, even a £2 connector. Give them a call and see if they can ship it cheaper.
dani_r
I think I'll try Chris Wilson then and see if he can sort me out.
Chewie
Yah tight wad! Why don't you jump in your Supe, get on the next ferry over to the mainland and collect them. Not so expensive now is it.

Chiefgroover
£7.50 you can have RM special delivery insured for £2.5K by next day noon for that. I doubt thats what they are using lol. Maybe they courier everything? if so its not a pro customer policy. Some companys thrive on what they make out of post fee's.

Kranz
Send them an SAE with a cheque to cover the cost of the part. Then you don't have to pay any postage to them
Blackie
Prob cheaper than you driving there to get it?
dani_r
Yeah, by quite a lot! :blink:The cost of the boat just to get to the UK is £208 with car, plus fuel, food, more car bits! more food (Burger King is a must when travelling to the UK as we don't have one over here!)
