Guest skans789
Hello there ive got a supra tt j spec. In the mornings itdoes not matter if its a cold or hot morning it will not start. It will keep turning over till the battery goes flat, So i had the AA to come look at it and he had a quick look over and opened a big plack pipe and sprayed some carb cleaner in there, i thought that would be the last of the problem so go for a quick drive in it come back park it up few hours later, it doesnt want to start. So i spray some carb cleaner and a few pops and bangs later it starts up. Not got no idea on the problem, but put a pic below were i am putting the carb cleaner in, any ideas much apprieciated. Thanks, ... i dont actually spray the carb cleaner in the pipe its in the big air intake thing.
mikeyb10supra
Thats not a good idea, I hope thats not damaged your injector o-rings in anyway, the pops and bangs might signify that you have although are you spraying it at the throttle butterfly while its closed or opening it first?. Best place to start is checking error codes but this will now be incidental if your injectors are damaged. Did it stay idling when you got it started?? did it start then stop? When were the plugs last changed? If they are seriously fouled this wont help Edited December 26, 2008 by mikeyb10supra (see edit history)

Steve
You only need a paperclip to read the codes http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=35920
