It will be the 750. hmm... two options 1) we fork out the 250 and get it fixed by monday (when the car needs to be return) - pushing it 2) go to return the car on monday and haggle for our dear life... As far as i see it, get the car dirty and keep your fingers crossed (doubt it will work) or Pay the 250 and risk it turning to 1000 instead of 250. What if this car was a your Supra that you'd entrusted to a garage to look after and it got scratched while it was in their care. How would you feel if they got it touched up and didn't tell you? You'd all be pretty p*ssed off wouldn't you. You signed a legally binding contract to look after this car while it was in your care. Take the punishment. Sorry that's life. But should you take the opportunity to run into the back of a mates vehicle then at least you'd get the benefit of a shared whiplash claim as lets face it 750 is the tops they can charge you regardless of if you trouser it on the way back to the hire car place.
