imi Posted December 25, 2008 Share Posted December 25, 2008 My GF rented a car for the festive period (a brand new nissan) and parked it near the place where she rented it (on a public road) Apparently someone has scratched (deliberately keyed) the car really bad, all around the body.... As the excess for the rental is £750, any suggestions tips, professionals in the area that could come over to assess the damage in order to get the actual cost of fixing it. Filling the all the forms, the receptionist offered an insurance package for silly things like bumps, cracked windscreen and scratches. Another rip-off? Beware these mobile repair people. That damage in this weather outside. If that damage is down both sides and deep you'll need the sides painted. Please post pictures of it done as i have seen some horrors in the past. This could turn into a grand for you if your not careful.
