AndrewOW
I try to measure the love from my parents I get in something other than presents, if I did, it'd be pants... Not socks? Subtle, but effective I had The Dark Knight, Spaced box set and Lee Evans dvds. Lego Indiana Jones trilogy (Wii), five novels (in one) by Philip K Dick, the complete (7) books of Harry Potter, Luis Royo calendar, pants, a very big soup bowl style mug, Muse calendar. Plus some other bits and pieces, but a couple of items I really wanted, I didn't get. Will be getting those at weekend then! Otherwise a very successful Xmas
AndrewOW
I shake my head as I relay this, but it's sadly true: I got 2x FEMALE right guard or somesuch roll on deo, and 2x DOVE exfoliating soap. And to top it all I got a friggin BABY'S bottle. that was the worst of it, Got more cash from my Dad, some of which he has spent on my mum before giving it to me (fair do's) But I did get a very smart pair of cuff links, and a nice bottle of wine. But, then I never give Christmas presents so I'm not in a position to complain! Did by myself a nice Storm MK2 Circuit though. Do you think they really hoped for a girl? A plastic ashtray A plastic handbag, containing three plastic purses A plastic folding wash bag kit that looks as though it was once attached to a larger bag A naff pen A torch with no bulb in it and red paint splatter all over it An Irish Coffee glass A can of Fosters A tin of sardines "Its the thought that counts" I thought as I threw them in the bin. Tannhauser
A torch with no bulb in it and red paint splatter all over it That's terrific. I don't even really celebrate Christmas, but I still received the following: £50 (from my Mum, bless her) The War of the Newts(1936) Karel Capek Travels in France and Italy(1767) Tobias Smollett Columbo: the fourth series on DVD A nutmeg grater (as I recently accidentally emptied a complete bottle of powdered nutmeg onto my dinner) A mug from Mr B. 's bookshop All suitably Tannhauser-ish
