I know the feeling, as my birthday and Christmas are 6 months apart, I used to get 6 months car tax each time from my parents, as they've been saving up as my car was off the road (so nothing for my birthday this year or last Xmas), I got a years worth when my car was fixed, and some boxer shorts...
