Does anyone know the name of the part which joins the down pipe to the the back of the engine? After leaving the down pipe the inside splits into 2, if thats any help????

I need one but dont know what to ask for as when removing my down pipe to de-cat it, the bolts snapped and wont come out, so I cant join my new pipe to the rest of the car.

Cheers.

EGBV housing is the bit above what you are looking for i believe, although im not sure what the correct bit is called.

Its like a 'y' piece almost, but as cast piece with 2 bolts out the top and 3 out the bottom.

Thats the bit Rob, the almost Y piece. The down pipe bolts directly to it.
