CJ
My sons had posted a Christmas present to me but had left it a bit late and so it was highly unlikely it would arrive in time. Now, that in itself doesn't seem a big deal to others but when you live alone and that was going to be the only present you had to open on Christmas day, it became more important. Anyway, I just went to the local post office and it has arrived. I am one happy camper! (cue Michael's sarcastic comment)

dani_r
I'm stuck at work, but my new Nur Spec exhaust should be arriving today! I foolishly thought that i could rely on my girlfriend to listen out for the buzzer to collect the parcel from the courier. But no. What was I thinking? I just received a phone call saying that she can't go downstairs to see if it's been delivered because there is a CAT outside the door and it's meowing! (I know how scary those small cats can be!) So now I might not get my exhaust until after Xmas because my gf is scared of a cat and can't leave the flat..... Am I the only person who thinks thats crazy? Gerry
I started to feel sorry for you Colin when I read your first post - then I remembered: You live a stones throw from a beautiful beach and spend your summer chatting to scantily clad women from all over the world (and get paid for it). It's eaither warm, hot or sizzling and if it gets too bad you can always risk the boiling hot sand and run down into the blue sea to cool off (taking care not to step on any topless sunbathers on the way) The foods cheap, the ouzo's cheaper and the beers chilled And... you didn't spend over a grand to BPU your Supe only to go .003 of a second faster this year at SupraPod ----------------------------------------- PS. Pleased your prezzie turned up, hope I can buy you a beer over there next summer mate (wasn't keen on Kefalonia this year). Happy Christmas Colin.
