stevie_b
Bought a 52" Samsung yesterday for £649... got it home and the damn thing doesn't fit in the "tv" space in living room. Whoops! Should have measured first * awaits a thread in the For Sale section, whilst picturing in my mind what a 52" TV would look like in my lounge *
Bobbeh
Bigger isn't always better I'm just picturing the countless people up and down the country rushing out to buy big screen TV's in the sales... only to find when they get home the same thing as you with not fitting in their house, or that the screens are so large they totally dominate the little rooms most people are putting them in I guess sometimes the basics are lost in the frenzy of saving some cash and of course, having a nice new telly! paul mac
lol I still want one of these tv's, but have decided to wait a while, rather have the cash in my bank i am not in a rush and listening to the "wireless" yesterday they reckon the crunch is going to continue to bite and there may be a lot more discounting to come, if i wait long enough they may pay me to take a telly

lockys96
True!! All my mates have got 42" telly's and I decided that a 37" was better for my living room..... I am not convinced by the picture quality on some of the bigger tv's!! H. spend £2,500 and you will be

Lbm
I purchased one of these earlier this year, and now it seems particularly good value. PANASONIC TH-42PX80BA £499 http://www.comet.co.uk/shopcomet/product/442143/PANASONIC-TH-42PX80BA?cm_ven=Affiliatewindow&cm_cat=Feed&cm_pla=Plasma_and_LCD_TVs&cm_ite=442143_PANASONIC_TH-42PX80BA Edit: Actually I didn't. Mine was the 80B - only 2 HDMI inputs. This one has 3.
