Branners
Always worth checking the price comparison sites too, like pricerunner and froogle.

dr_blackman
I so want a big tv, but I just can't justify it as my Samsung 28inch flatscreen is 6 years old but isn't showing any signs of dying lol... Some good buys out!!
Guigsy
Im fancying this. Its only the tv for the bedroom as the one in the livingroom is the same size and perfectly big enough. 40 would be 2 big and i need to spend the difference elsewhere (couch and a dryer) HERE IS THE LINK TO THE LG MENTIONED IN THE ORIGONAL POST This isnt bad too. Bobbeh
Thats a series 5.. like 2 model ranges down. (old) TBH you gotta raise an eyebrow when new sets 2/3 the size cost twice as much, theres a reason why some are so cheap

Bobbeh
I saw today that the 40 inch Sony V4000 model mentioned earlier in this thread is for sale at £550 at Argos and £599 at Currys.
Swampy442
If youre after the LG one, Id suggest you try PC World. Thanks to the link from Supraloopy I called the stock line, while none of the 9 Currys stores in the area had any and had a waiting list, PC World (which in Lincoln is the shop right next door) has some.
