Tom
could be true(I have serous doughts though ) but I'm not sure on the registering process of a car that's in Ireland? it may still need an ESVA test and if so you can't register it here. DARETT
whys that bud? ESVA means the car needs a model report. There are no model reports available for the Supra in the UK as yet. Unless someone makes one themselves, which is very expensive.....
Tom
whys that bud? 10 year rule mate unfortunately there's no model report for a supra under 10 years old so this one might not be able to be registered till 2012. and before anyone says (how come there are 2000 plates etc in the country?) it's because they would have been registered before 10 year rule came in, which was in 2004 I was expecting to see a load of 1998's coming in this year there's not been that many at all(due to the price in Japan) but next year 1999's can legally make it here Edited December 23, 2008 by Tom (see edit history)
jazz1
wow you know your stuff, i better ring him up and tell him to buy that white one:)
DARETT
Also, the ESVA and SVA are being scrapped as of April this year in favour for an IVA testing scheme. This will mean that even the car's that could come over with just an SVA will also need a model report, and there are rumours of them scrapping the 10 year rule as well
Stonkin
No pictures and a crap advert. Doesnt show much about the guys passion for the car he is selling
DaveR
Even without all the SVA stuff, I'd be wary of THAT advert for the lack of pics and any real info on the car.
