Swampy442
Keep an eye on the for sale section, UK spec fronts come up from time to time, I got discs, pads and calipers with goodrige lines for £300. Once you change from J spec to UK spec you'll wonder how you ever coped before Ive got some Mintex pads |I bought from a member, theyre alright although Ive never really pushed them. Very low dust too.

Very low dust too. I don't think his wheels will clear uk calipers so additional costs going that route. Also to the op all uprated pads will give your wheels a harder time re dust, so careful choice of pad and religious cleaning will be required. michael
im asking for help and now people have taken over my thread o well. OK, I see one of your questions has been answered in detail and one has been ignored - there are already a wealth of previous threads covering both so a quick search should be all you need but in the meantime have you looked at the brakes to see which ones you have? Nic has posted nice pics of the 2 pot rears in this thread: http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=98436 If yours look like that then you have the larger brakes, if they don't then you have the smaller ones
Milton79
i have chris wilson pads. from what i know they are oem but he does something to them before selling them yeah, puts them into a different box no seriously, i am sure i have been informed they were porterfield pads but sold as "chris wilson's". Dragonball
Sorry - did not mean to break the thread I am almost 100% sure that Chris does NOT sell porterfield - porterfield contain (and again from a very poor memory) a lot of ferrous material that will wear down the discs very quickly Chris' do require warming slightly but add a great deal to the stopping power BTW - amended to £120 for the full set - front and rears! supra_si
has anyone used mintex extreme pads before?
michael
I think it was Gamer who got a set free because they used a pic of his car to advertise them without permission, not sure he fitted them but he either gave them away or sold them to someone so a search might reveal some feedback. gordy07
I have EBC red stuff on mine and they take a while to heat up and cool down. But they do stop you well once there up to temp!
