Keep an eye on the for sale section, UK spec fronts come up from time to time, I got discs, pads and calipers with goodrige lines for £300. Once you change from J spec to UK spec you'll wonder how you ever coped before :)

Ive got some Mintex pads |I bought from a member, theyre alright although Ive never really pushed them. Very low dust too.

I don't think his wheels will clear uk calipers so additional costs going that route.

Also to the op all uprated pads will give your wheels a harder time re dust, so careful choice of pad and religious cleaning will be required.

im asking for help and now people have taken over my thread :( o well.

OK, I see one of your questions has been answered in detail and one has been ignored - there are already a wealth of previous threads covering both so a quick search should be all you need but in the meantime have you looked at the brakes to see which ones you have?

Nic has posted nice pics of the 2 pot rears in this thread:

If yours look like that then you have the larger brakes, if they don't then you have the smaller ones :)

Sorry - did not mean to break the thread :)

I am almost 100% sure that Chris does NOT sell porterfield - porterfield contain (and again from a very poor memory) a lot of ferrous material that will wear down the discs very quickly

Chris' do require warming slightly but add a great deal to the stopping power

BTW - amended to £120 for the full set - front and rears! :)

I have used TRD pads and discs on all my GT4's and now on my Supra, Great pad for trackwork and fast road and are quick to warm up.

Regards

Ive also seen you mention about the carbotechs.

Would you rate them over the trds? if so where do you get them from?

I plan to do a few track days here and there in the faff
