Jay_vr6
Fitted front and rear Tein strut braces brought from a reputable company, after 1 week the front green mounts are now a yellowy colour. It's an N/a so i wouldn't have thought the under bonnet temps would be that harsh compared to a TT. Anyone else have this trouble before I go complaining ? Tricky-Ricky
Could be that some chemical has come into contact with the anodising, certain things can change/fade the colour, along with to much UV.
Jay_vr6
it does look like a chemical has come into contact, but under the bonnet ?? I hope its not brake fluid or something an dif it is a chemical its done it to both sides of the brace..
Supra Size Me
Mine faded quickly too think it's just Mr Tein skimping on the anodising, couldn't be bothered to complain here
AlanM
If it is a chemical that came in contact unlikely to be even across the surface
