AndrewOW
I went to see him at Destination Docklands in 1988, and then at Wembley Arena in the mid 90's. I have all of his albums, and used to play them practically on rotation years ago. I still like a few of his, but the novelty has worn off a bit. His live shows are certainly spectacular, but I can't help but think that they are all pre-recorded. Which is a shame, as I think he's a very talented chap. For a Frenchman Hope you enjoy

RedM
I nearly passed out at one of his concerts. There was a lack of Oxygene.

Darren's off to see the famous female impersonator Jean Michelle Jarre. I've personally seen her and she's awfully good live, but her light show leaves a lot to be desired. Here she is at the Danbury village hall, Essex 2003- from my private collection:

Put the chinese concert on last week as a blast from the past

Put the chinese concert on last week as a blast from the past There's been so much more around by other artists that make his stuff sound a little dated now, but its still excellent music IMO. I liked one of his latest proper albums, Metamorphoses, but the remixes (including some by Sash) in Odyssey through 02 are pretty good. The second Oxygene album, 7-13 is good too. One of my favourites, from The Concerts in China CD, has to be Night in Shanghai.
