Nice wheels these Charles:) My mate has them on his Silvia. Nice and aggressive, classy and clean lines:)

Size wise, OEM are 8 x 17 and 9.5 x 17 with -50 offasets. So the rears may be a little narrow but the offset will compensate for it I should of thought. Dont quote me on that though:)

I managed without many problems but they didn't have tyres on. would have thought you would still do it tho

Thanks - should save me £50 on hiring a car or what not.

Now all I need is someone to confirm they'll fit on the car in this spec'd sizes..

Front 18 8J 38

Rear 18 9J 45

I should've checked before committing to buying them really . Oops :innocent::rolleyes:

its easy. ive done it loads.

Remove the spare and put on in there. then fold the seats down. you can get 2 in there. then another on the passenger seat. You wont get 3 in the back compartment without removing the spare.

Cheers - I'll have to take out my sub build then, but that shouldn't cause too many troubles given I fitted it myself.

Doesn't matter what size the wheels are the overall size including the tyres should always be the same. 16", 17", 18" or 19" should have the appropriate tirewall size to give the same rolling radius.

I can't see you having much trouble at all really. As long as you don't need to have a passenger as well it should be easy. I would do it exactly like guigsy says and move the passenger seat as far forward as you can. I would recommend putting the seatbelt on the one in the front seat also lol.

How about fitting the new wheels when you get them, and then stick the old smaller ones (I'm presuming they're smaller) in the car?

Good idea but knowing non-mechanical me I'll end up damaging something. I'll see if the guy I am getting them off can lend a hand though - thanks for the good thinking.
