Steering wheel

Make sure ignition is off!

Remove the two plastic 'flaps' either side of the steering wheel with a screwdriver. Undo the Torx screws (6mm I think) underneath those, then the airbag should come off.

Underneath that you'll see the large nut that holds the steering wheel on. Use a suitable 'socket' on that, but just loosen it a few rotations, and then pull hard. The wheel should then loosen and undo the nut completely to take it all off (if you don't, you could end up with a bloody nose!). ;)

Boss goes on, then the new steering wheel. Make sure you have the front wheels dead straight (to mount the wheel straight too), then do it all up again.

As for the wiring of the horn, I haven't a clue, as I still haven't done mine yet!

Have a look here:

Hope that helps :)

Nice of you both to give some advice.;)

Personally I'm starting to get tired of simple questions being asked time and time again when it's fairly obvious that they haven't even bothered to make an effort to do a search first.

I know its easy to say 'use the search', but I'm nicer than that :)

You obviously didn't look hard enough then.

A quote from the Urban dictionary . lol

1. stupied

The stupid way of spelling stupid. Basically, it's how illiterate morons try to be clever by using big words with 2 syllables. Except they spell them wrong.

Moron: OMG u r lyke sooo stupied !!!!!!!!111

Person: I'm not so sure about that, but I know you're stupid.

lol Abuse, you cannot be serious!

You may have a different attitude when you've been on here a few years.

Have a look through all of the posts where I've tried to help other members, you'll be very very very surprised!;)

I even got told off recently for providing too much information when trying to be helpful to a fellow member!

I would say that from the original post it's clear that very little effort if anything at all was done to search for an answer to the question which was asked.

When somone has done a decent search for a technical question they normally say stuff like:

I know how to remove this bit but what tool do I need to use now?

or

I removed the plastic cover but couldn't remove the clip

or

I couldn't get a socket to fit on the nut.

etc etc. :)
