ajazyasin
Im currently wiring in a link G4 storm to my 1jzgte soarer. I was hoping some of the more electronically minded amounst us could help as it is very similar to the 2jz supra. 1. The crank position sensor(Ne-, Ne) and cam pos sensor(G1-,G1) run 2 pins each on the factory loom. Which would be used as the trigger and which as the +8volt out on the standalone? 2. The factor loom runs all 6 injectors from 3 pins(#10,#20,#30). Im presuming this can wire into three of the G4s injection pins? 3. the TPS(Primary throttle) has 2 pins. VTA1 & IDL1. Which would be power? thanks in advance all. I just need to get the thing wired in and then it can leave my hands!
Nodalmighty
That is SO going to go pop if you wire it like that chap 8v is for Bosch MAF units. Ne goes to Trig 1 G1 goes to Trig 2 Ne- and G1- go to sensor ground. Vta1 goes to the TPS, VC goes to 5v and the other is sensor ground. ID1 is the idle switch, you don't need that one. Wire the Injectors #10,#30,#50 to INJ1 and #20,#40#60 to INJ2 as you can't use a three channel mode setup on a Storm. Set them as Grouped on INJ1 & 2. Wire the Ign1,Ign6 to Ignition1, Ign2,Ign5 to Ignition2 & Ign3,Ign4 to Ignition3 on the Link. Wire the Stepper motor Idle 1 to link aux5 Wire the Stepper motor Idle 2 to link aux7 Wire the Stepper motor Idle 3 to link aux6 Wire the Stepper motor Idle 4 to link aux8 The rest is quite straight forward. Good Luck If you are still struggling, [email protected] Lyndon. Edited December 18, 2008 by Lyndon @ Rogue (see edit history)
