I bought this earlier, after a bit of haggling I got it for £2500 in the end :), funny thing is the 2nd turbo is fine, it just has a split pipe :)

whats that one worth?? 200,000 ????

not bothered about the miles, but how long will they last?? 250/300,000??

No known upper limit on a stocker.

What are you going to do anyway, if you are ripping out the internals then imo it doesn't really matter.

I think the garage will laugh at you if you offer him £3k.

I'm not so sure I've really understood many of your posts, but do you mean "will the turbos last for 250 to 350,000 miles, or do you mean the engine or do you...what do you mean?

the 3k , was for the auto, not manual mate

well turbos arent going to last 250/300, 000 miles are they(unless you run stock boost and are lucky)

just general engine, ive had cars with 200,000 miles on it in the past, so i aint scared lol

I was talking about the auto.

If he could go down to £3k that means he is either selling at a loss or he bought it on a px for less- know many people on here that would sell a TT for £3k? That he hasn't replaced the turbo to sell for more tells me he is in a tight spot himself.

Again, I'm unaware of any limit for turbos that haven't been abused, plenty of taxis do that sort of milage.

I was looking at that one too but the shagged turbo gave me the willies, would it have been cheaper to fix it or replace with single before the split pipe was noticed anyway, well done tho,got it for a good price i reckon.
