How do I refurb my power steering pump?

Evening guys and gals,

Just wondering how easy it is to refurb my power steering pump? I have had a look to see if there is a guide but couldn't find one. It's been leaking since I got the car 6 months ago but not a great deal. I can live with it but at the moment I carry a bottle of PS fluid in the car with me all the time and have to top up every couple of weeks. When the fluid is low it makes the standard whining noise but as soon as it's topped up, not a peep out of it!

Getting on my nerves a bit, but a new one from Mr T is £420 with a 15% discount! (Should be £493)

I wanted to just replace the seals/gaskets to start with as thats only £20.

Any help appreciated

Dean

There is a guide for doing one on a 1JZGTE (basically the same engine) but because the webmater of the site it is on is a tool he has set the site up so direct links cannot be made.... (or I'm a tool and cannot figure out how to do it!!!)

So here is the site...

http://jkwebdesign.net/discus/

When in, search on 'power steering pump repair on the Twin Turbo'.

Full pictoral guide.

It may need slight changing for the 2JZ, but I doubt it.

i do have a workshop manual so i will check this to see how you could change the seals.
