Matt H
Read in the paper about an MS Explorer fault that someone has exploited that allows websites to track your details (passwords etc) According to the paper; security companys are recommending a switch to firefox etc until it's resolved. I know there's a few IT guys on here, so is this something that i (we) should be worried about? Thought there might be a thread about it but couldn't find one... stevie_b
security companys are recommending a switch to firefox etc until it's resolved. Just crossed through the incorrect bit for you. From what I've read, the nature of the vulnerability has not been released. I think you'd be unlucky to fall foul of it, but is it worth the risk? Some people say a hacker could view any file on your PC's hard drive, but that *might* be scare-mongering. Unless you've got a specific reason not to, I'd just change to Firefox permanently.
