Luka-P
I think you've solved your problem by ordering the new pump. That looks like a core plug of some sort.
Bender
Yeap but... All water pumps "leak" internally. There is sometimes a volume for the water to fill up so that you don't see the leak on the outside - that is until the pump seal wears and the leak gets so large that it fills up the volume. Then there is a small hole to let the water out so that the leak manifests itself. He said about small hole but I got two !
Guest victorvondoom
I had the exact same problem. I removed the core plug and replaced it with another - problem solved.......core plug cost me 50p and a tube of sealent £3. Not had problems with it since. Core plug is 20mm diameter. Guest victorvondoom
Got core plug from local motor factors. Try the old shops as opposed to the likes of Halfords. Not many places stock them nowadays. Failing that, Ebay.
