SUPRAVIRGIN
& You can have a lot of fun in N/a's and will see off most other cars on the road. I've done a lot of meet and a trip to Le mans this year in mine and I haven't had any Problems at all with the car. hi, ive heard them on the road, and they sound fantastic! SUPRAVIRGIN
I tend to find my N/A is faster in gear than out of it... ...unless it's going downhill. hi, lol:)
SUPRAVIRGIN
1. Magic tree air freshener 2. No 3. The same old things that every 15 year old car suffers from 4. Don't buy an NA and then expect to get more power out of it. Be happy with the power, or buy a TT in the first place. 5. The NA is faster than many things. Glaciers, sloths, and continental drift are all much slower for example. 6. Yes. As with any big heavy RWD car they're not a car that immediately springs to mind when you want something to "throw around a bit", but they handle decently enough unless you want to start sticking 20" wheels and lowered suspension. hi, cheers for that. My XJS is 250 bhp, but its heavy, still goes though. im sure ill be happy with a n/a Supra

SUPRAVIRGIN
Top tip, dont be desperate, be measured and research, look at a few and, most important of all, listen to the advice offered on here!! And welcome hi. cheers, i will do just that
SUPRAVIRGIN
Welcome! Do a search on what particular thing you want to find out. The NA's are not good if you want to increase the power, but they are mega comfortable and are a joy to drive..... H. hi, i reckon they will be just what im after. SUPRAVIRGIN
Come to ace cafe in Jan - there is a meet happening in London where around 50 supras will be there to give you an idea of what colour/bodykit/model etc. takes your fancy best. Plus you'll get to me the 50 owners.. If you can wait that long. hi, cheers for that, just depends if i find one i like first!
SUPRAVIRGIN
Where are you in the West Mids? Good luck with your search, yes they are fast in gear, etc, etc. Twin Turbos (TTs) especially. If you're nearby and I'm free, I don't mind tagging along if you want a second opinion when viewing a potential buy. hi steve, thanks for that. im in Smethwick, just down the m5
SUPRAVIRGIN
check out the for sale section on the forum, it'll give you an idea of what you can get and for how much, and na's are fast cars, you can have plenty of fun in them. Welcome aboard. hi, thanks, i will

SUPRAVIRGIN
Hi, i desparately want to buy a Supra, but as of yet have never even sat in one! So, if anyone can throw some info my way, that would be great. I am going to buy a n/a with a manual gearbox, ( i dont think i can justify the costs of a tt ). 1 What should i be looking for in prospective cars? 2 Do i need to worry about lack of history/import papers? 3 Any mechanical issues i should specifically look out for? 4 How much power can you extract from a n/a car? 5 Are they really fast? I read 0-60 times of about 6 secs, is that correct? And are they fast in gear? 6 Are they comfortable and well made? I have a Jaguar XJS and thats brilliant! But i want something I can throw about a bit! any help/advice much appreciated cheers Bal quick question for anyone who knows: how much ( roughly ) would it cost to replace an auto box with a manual, not inc the cost of the box? simply, is it worth buying a 'cheapish' auto and modding it? Scooter
simply, is it worth buying a 'cheapish' auto and modding it? simply........no manuals aren't too much more just the number to select from is far lower, being patient and willing to travel a bit will help
ilicos
It took me months of travelling and searching to find mine. Be patient!!!
