SUPRAVIRGIN
i have one for sale if you want it 5 speed n/a manual... 3k to anyone on here! Hi, it looks very nice. However, i have seen a 1996 facelift, with a 6 speed box, reasonably low miles, for under £3000. Is that suspiciously cheap? It is a trader too. And is it a big bonus having the 6 speed box? Its a 1995 White 5sp N/a Have a look in My Garage Hi, thats nice too But I think I will investigate this facelift car a bit. Its silver, which I think I prefer, followed by black, then white, BUT, I have just seen one on Pistonheads that, for me, is just awesome! Its in red, with the full veilside kit, and that car makes me wettttttt! lol It is SOOOOOOOOO sexy, kind of like a De Tomasso Pantera GT5, only about £45k cheaper!! SUPRAVIRGIN
yes must be a scam Hi, what would be a realistic price for such a car? £4-£5k?
Scooter
yes must be a scam its an NA............ Hi, it looks very nice. However, i have seen a 1996 facelift, with a 6 speed box, reasonably low miles, for under £3000. Is that suspiciously cheap? It is a trader too. And is it a big bonus having the 6 speed box? I have my eye on that very one too...have you phoned the trader at all?......its not a 'big bonus' to have the 6 speed as such, it'll drive very much the same as a 5 speed, but it'll keep its resale value up alot as its worth £1.5k minimum even if you totalled every body panel. 'Not to my taste' steering wheel and no airbag suggest possible old front ding, is about the only thing on the face of the pics and ad that 'may' give cause for concern............i may go saturday to view it, but i'll probably be window shopping (i don't need it but it would make for a cheap track car at the right price)

I did call him, said he was selling for a 'friend' and that there were a few paintwork issues. He did seem like a nice chap though. If it has been 'dinged' at the front, I guess there would be some sign of repair? Something to give it away? It does seem appealing to have a later car, but I dont like the chunky indicaters, or the rear lights, the surround is a little darker than the earlier cars. But I guess the old lights would just slot straight in?
Scooter
But I guess the old lights would just slot straight in? i think so and you could probably get a few quid in a swap deal too. The fact it has poor paint in areas suggest some type of damage has been sustained (spose it could just be vandalism?) and i'd look in these areas and at panel gaps etc. Are you fairly serious about the car? Well, I have provisionally flogged my XJS Cabriolet so that I can buy a Supra, and im half thinking about getting rid of my 944 aswell, so I have a slightly bigger budget and a bit more parking space. I do like the sound of the car, and if my Jag definately goes I will probably make a trip down there with cash in my hand. But, I am not going to get over excited and buy it because its a late car etc. I want a decent one, and I will wait till I find one.
