L33
well this has taught me to find out more before i buy, but at the time i just thought hybrid turbos were hybrid turbos, didnt know there was a million and one questions about them! and it will teach me for constantly changing my mind

L33
well i emailed and no reply, and lui said they are a bit secretive too? im stuck with these 4 ever!
legendswraith
not really if you take the compressor housing off and measure the inducer size and the od size you can compare the wheel to a chart to determine the nearest compressor wheel. TBH any turbo reconditioner/builder will be able to tell you roughly what the compressor is at least by looks
L33
i have no idea how to do that stuff im not very mechanical at all and if i break them im even more screwed
legendswraith
don't think any local turbo recon place would charge you more than a tenner to do it tbh unless they were really tight all you have to do is undo the clamp on the compressor housing and take it off. Chris Wilson
well i emailed and no reply, and lui said they are a bit secretive too? im stuck with these 4 ever! Nothing to do with me, but if you have been offered 700 quid you should take it. The economic climate is such that I honestly believe that's a good offer for unknown size turbos. The amount of cheap stuff around for Skylines, for example, is remarkable, and a sure sign that people are seriously skint. Just IMHO.
