RX7s?

From what I've gleaned over the years:

The sequential turbo system is way more complex than the Supra's, believe it or not, and the hoses all get hot and fail, causing sequential problems of a biblical nature.

They fall to bits at a whiff of detonation, unlike the plucky 2JZ.

The handling is very sensitive to alignment, ride height, and wheel size/tyre sidewall - i.e. it's a deathtrap.

Otherwise, ace cars that'll drive circles around the Supra if you can fit in them :) A friend of mine races one in Nippon challenge :)

Hmmm any advice to a RX7 specialist in Milton Keynes?

It just seems like such a car for a few 'k'. Could it make a good daily driver (talking 20 miles/day or so)?

Hell no! With only doing 20 miles a day you may be lucky enough to get into double figures but not much more, if you were to drive like Miss Daisy you may see 20-25mpg (if you are really careful).

To date the best car i've ever driven, amazing driving feel and balance,

if you have the cash go for an already converted single turbo and look out for one on a fresh rebuild :) i'd guess up to 10k should get you a very good one :)
