Boostlogic 67DBB = HKS T04Z

He said their 67DBB is a T04Z with a smaller exhaust housing.

Well my BL t67dbb turbo fits perfectly inside the HKS T04R housings both compressor and exhaust side. The Z is just a fancy housing'd R by the looks of it.

It's bigger than the GT35R so will spool up a bit slower.

Essentially both the Garrett and HKS are the same turbo (CHRA) from what i have seen, with HKS using a slightly modified housings. though With the Garrett you have a choice of Divided A/R, .70, .84, 1.00, 1.15, 1.32, 1.59, and Undivided .61 and .70 A/R

 

The Garrett can be got for around £1K, last a checked the HKS version was closer to £2K

So divided housings from a Garrett supplier for a T04Z should fit a T67 as well then....

I am also interested in this topic. I was going to get a GT35R but want around 600 BHP for when i go manual. I know the GT35R Puffs out around 540 BHP as my buddy has one. Still awesome though.
