Hey, should be going for a na tt conversion next year. Spoke to insurance company last night to get an idea of what insurance uplift would be. They told me there would be NO extra charge!! Im just not sure they put the car details in correct. what would my supra be classed as? Its an SZ NA jspec. If I put a TT in would it be classed as something else or just a SZ TT??

I think she quoted me for a RZ?

You'd better query that one fella, that isn't right. And if it is right, it still isn't right! :D

All the quotes I had before getting my TT gave me the same price on a TT as NA so I'm guessing they've just put it down as a standard TT. Maybe your policy will change the car type but with the coincidence that the price is the same.

I don't know if the fact that it's modified to get it to be a TT should mean it costs more than if it were a TT originally?

Just spoke to adrian flux. The girl I spoke to yesterday had misquoted me. It will go up another £100 (not bad at all) to upgrade to turbo engine. But because I was misquoted, they said they would honour it!! so if I get the conversion, it wont cost me a thing in insure.

congrats on that..

just a thought as this has been brought up,

what does every think of adrain flux insurance has im after the new year getting my car insurance sorted as ill be due, and they have offered me a very good price well know one else can offer the same,

Fully comp - break cover - 20yrs old - no garage just drive because me mother has had this mad idea of turning the garage in to some think else so lost my garage lol

1300pound. i no that's a lot to some people on there but because of my age and car i cant really moan as my first car was a escort 1.6si which i paid the same for that when i first past 4yrs ago lol

Just wondering - as there's not a lot out there for the supra n/a for a 20yr old to insure, and if i have got quoted they have been OTT.
