Gaz6002
Only for the good ones. They are becoming a bit more of a cult car nowadays IMO and although the little dickheads give them a bad name, the good ones still get respect from the right people. JamieP
Any links to these cars?
steady_dave
I've noticed over the past few years the bottom of the Scale Supra's have gone down in price while the really top end one's have been creeping up. Just out of interested when you say "Dickheads giving them a bad name" what d'ya mean?
grahamc
All cars I am seeing are going down...
NatsupraTT
I only bought mine about 4 weeks ago and at the time there were some quite cheap around but now i look at them they seem to be getting expensive again even for the N/A altho you can still find the odd cheap ones but then they prob in poor condition. DaveK
I suspect you're seeing adverts by dreamers - it doesn't mean they sell. We are in the middle of winter and the middle of a credit crunch. I find it pretty unlikely that means the prices of 10-15 year old Toyota sports cars are increasing. NatsupraTT
Well i wanted a good Supra and all the expensive ones were sold when i rang them then i found my one the day they got it. All that was left was cheap ones that were high miles

tooquicktostop
There are very few Supras out there in the UK now that command the 20K price tags you used to see 2 years ago, but I think that the very well looked after stock facelift TT6's will hold value going forward as will the very lavish singles with their £1000's in reciepts from good tuners/builders Finding a buyer is the challenge ! Gazboy
With the Yen- Sterling index it will stop importers driving prices down further as a 1993 £6000 TT auto last year will now cost them £9000. Facelifts will probably hold, 6spds will slow but autos will continue to devalue imo as they slip into the bracket populated by the blinkered who would dismiss them for being an auto. mr lover
what they are for sale for and what they sell for are two completely different things
The Raven
See my topic and that will tell you what the general car/sports car trade think.
chunk
Do u think that a 550bhp gz aero 6 speed is worth selling in the current climate? or wait for the market to come back Im wondering what its worth
edge
Cars are so cheap now and will continue to fall in price. I was right last time and will be again. I wouldnt give anymore than £6k for a jdm TT6 in vgc with less than 80k miles on and im sure i could get one quite easily. The new year will more than likely see more job losses causing the chain reaction again and cars getting to silly money. I will worry when we see a £200k dream car for sale at 20 - 30k and only the lucky will be able to buy as alot of people will be in money troubles. j19edg
Do you think there are still the people out there who will pay that bit extra for a stock TT rather than one with loads of mods that they dont know how well they have been done?? Chris Wilson
An ultra low mileage fresh import, in totally stock condition, or with very subtle, well documented engine modifications, is probably the most desirable, price wise, but even those few that get imported will reflect the general market trends of gas guzzling, elderly toys. The whole car and property market is in recession, it's not something Supra specific The UK have lived on credit and bluster for ages, the US economy is bankrupt, the demand for anything mid to low range semi exotic is dead. There will always be the market place for new exotica, for those fortunate enough for a recession to be irrelevant or welcome, but the rest of us suffer in the mid term.
