If you come upto A69 junction, its about 6/7 miles from A1 Chester-le-street junction, just past the A1 Western Bypass bridge.

You can convoy over with us?

Gaz.

Think I'll come up and joins ya's all. What time Sunday will you be at the A1/A69 Junction? BTW Gaz (further to our telephone chat) ... Ive just looked at the PP Presentation, it says an 11am kick off. So at your junction about 9.15 - 9.30 sound right?

Looking at the powerpoint presentation, the lunch stop is at the Stoneybeck pub, just north of Penrith guys, how about meeting us there? Should be around 1 ish i reckon. :rtfm:

As for plans for the night before for all of us going up on the Saturday, has anyone got a lot of knowledge of the area, a few of us (Dazsir, Jimsupra and myself) are staying at a B and B called Kays Cottage. I know where not the only ones that are gonna be there on Sat' night, so can we arrange a meeting place where we can all get together? :tumble: :thanks:

I'm hoping to make the lunch break for around 2pm @ StoneyBeck Pub. (due to the large numbers we may just have to settle with snacks and refreshments - so bring some sarnies just incase).

Sunday Meet up at Halfords at 11am.

Set off on route one at around 12pm to 1pm and then complete route one at around 2:30pm ish. (the pub said the later the better for them - as the dinner time peak should have moved on).

Route two start at around 3:30pm. And then finish route two at around 5:30pm ish.

I'm getting myself a couple of PMR-walkie talkies today.... so if you guys also have some then bring them along to keep in touch on the day. ;-)

Just out of interest... do these PMRs work in europe? or just the UK?

Myself and Rays the roof may well join up with you guys in the afternoon, suggestions as to a good place and time appreciated :)

As AJI says ... its an 11 meet and a 12 set-off. Why dont you all make it for that time and enjoy the whole trip
