dandan
Can anyone tell me the size of the "dump side" V band flange on a 44mm Tial gate? I am looking into recirculated dump tube fabrication and am currently sourcing pipe and bellows so need to know the size and don't have a wastegate to hand. Is it a 1.5" (38mm) bore? The Tial site says the feed is 1.875" and the outlet is 1.75"...is that the bore of the V band fitting? Chris Wilson
I'll measure mine when I am in the workshop later. Primary Design can get the proper bellows for that size pipe, I know, as I need to do this myself, on a Skyline engine.

dandan
I found (as reliable as the internet is) that the entry ID is 1.875" and the exit is 1.75". Chris - odd question - do you have any stainless 3" 2 bolt exhaust flanges?
Chris Wilson
Sorry, no. I very rarely need to work in 3 inch. I know at least two places who'll cut you some though.
dandan
Any idea how much Chris? I'd take two if that made any difference? £15 each? Also Chris - realistically how much torque do you think you're uprated clutch assembly will take? I am runnng one in my car at BPU kind of level but will be running a single turbo early in the new year....it's a 67mm turbo and I'd like to think it'll kick out a solid 500lbf.ft. What do you think?
