stevie_b
Unusual to use ebay as a means to catch a criminal. Feel sorry for the guy whose car was stolen, but I wonder if he left his keys in the ignition or something...? Still, I hope he gets it back and the thief is caught. supra_aero
Around the corner from me - sure he'd be known in the local area of enfield town if he is indeed local.

Pot
Hmm got a big honker. The first thing I thought, but also fair play to him for thinking about an e-bay ad, it's obviously had some effect, else we wouldn't have all seen it!... Regardless of the conditions of the crime, I think the thief should have his hands chopped off before being released, to then have to find a job to pay for his incarceration... KamaSupra
Feel sorry for the bloke but I just wonder why not just get the money off the insurance because the car's been stolen? Makes you wonder whats in the car that he wants it back so much?!
The Restorer
Feel sorry for the bloke but I just wonder why not just get the money off the insurance because the car's been stolen? Makes you wonder whats in the car that he wants it back so much?! Could he have left the key in at the time and hence insurance refuse to pay out. Paying 1k in reward is then better than losing the full value of the car.

SilverSoop
Feel for the guy, not good at all... Maybe if he had a bit of common sense though, he wouldn't leave his car unlocked...
Guest johnnie
Couldn't imagine how sad the car owner would feel, hope he could get his car back
n boost
Yeh fairplay to him, at least he is trying to get hold of this bumwipe and making a half decent attempt at it. Most people would have just phoned their insurance/police and left it at that. Well if he gets him, then at least there's one less $hite to come and try and nick yours! JamesC
Most people would have just phoned their insurance/police and left it at that. Not if the insurance won't pay out because he's left his keys in Edit: it says on the advert to leave the keys in the garage. So i guess he did. Benjy
Wish I'd thought of using Ebay when my Mk2 Escort got nicked. Although I'd probably have that still now rather than the supra. So it's kind of a good thing now. I love my Supra!! Hope the tea leaf sees it on Ebay, poo's himself and gives the car back. He'll either dump it back at the petrol station like the add says, or burn it. Either way, I hope he dies a very long, slow and extremely painful death!!!
