Carl_S
Maybe its just a phase that islam is going through, i dont think thar there is anything inherently wrong with it, or christianity for that matter. is was good enough for tony blair, an intelligent and fantastic pm, who did wonders for the ira problem, just like the lovely john major. imi
If we are so dumb why not educate us? Show us where we are going wrong... wave your clawed hands and tell us what to do... I'm a sponge, fill me up... - I'll decline your offer, but thanks, i'm touched. On a serious note. Would help if you actually read what some of the others including myself have been saying on this thread, let alone other past threads on this subject. If you are still struggling to understand, then by all means if you want, I can talk you through it over the phone or perhaps meetup with you if you are ever in london. Sometimes its easier (for me anyway) to put my point across verbally. Not saying that you should agree to my point of view....however if you carry on banging the same tune as present, then it is fairly evident that it is just not sinking in. Whether that is down to pure ignorance or purely stupidity, i leave that to others to come up to their own conclusions.
Carl_S
it's nor stupidity or ignorance. it's a valid viewpoint that is supremely understandable given the circumstances. If a wasp bites me ten times in one day, i am not going to like wasps.

We get on well in the real world but so many times I cannot understand your posts here on these matters, they just don't sum up to *my* understanding of this world, no matter how many times they're put forward. dangerous brain
for instance if a band of say 2000 plumbers world wide plotted to blow up the world trade center in the name of plumbing could you then blanket hate all plumbers? When put in as simplistic a view as that a reasonable person would obviously say no. What you aren't taking into consideration with that statement is human nature. 99.9% of people would indeed turn their ire upon all plumbers even though they know its a bit wrong. As for stopping the problem at source it would take an incredibly strong willed man to stand as an opinion against the forcefully opinioned. Some bloke years ago called Jesus had a go at that and look what happened to him.
Axle
We get on well in the real world but so many times I cannot understand your posts here on these matters I think that may have something to do with this comment he made to be fair Sometimes its easier (for me anyway) to put my point across verbally. Personally, religion in my mind is not to blame for the worlds conflicts and atrocities. However people will always conflict, no matter who is right or wrong. Due to what we are fed. Wheather you wish to admit it or not, the media has helped condition all of us the way we are today. The reason women want bigger breasts, or the reason some men go put themselves through painful and unyielding benefits for a larger member. The reason we wear the clothes we do, or want the things we want. Because in one way or another, we are all told this is whats cool, and whats right. Prestige, is man made. War, is man made. The diseases we are fighting today, is man made. The media is a source of mind control, and has been for a very, very long time. People only have to research, and find out the deeper information other then who owns Fox News, Columbia, Metro Goldwyn Mayer, Universal, 20th Century Fox, Fox News, Paramount, Walt Disney ABC News, CNN, NBC News and many more. You know, the Quran and the original Bible agree on the same things and principles. Even the Torah. The rest is man-made corruption. Research is the key. But it takes alot of effort i suppose. So its easier for us to remain in ignorance. This is in no way a personal shot against anyone on here. I dont blame those i personally feel are misinformed. I dont even feel an annoyance to those i feel are misinformed. However, i am somewhat disenheartened with the world as a whole. They always take the good people of this world out of the picture.. Again you only need to research. One example was JFK. The last president, who truely wanted change. RIP brother.
