marc_p
Ring up the council and get it clamped
Dave17
I'd be tempted to call the police, and i'd clamp it myself if i had one to hand and charge a fortune to release it
Jake
i'd clamp it myself if i had one to hand and charge a fortune to release itYou'd be breaking the law then.
Dave17
I would also put up a clamping sign on my driveway to make it lawful
grahamc
so council or police?
Jamesy W
Douse the thing in petrol and spark it. That should do the trick, although you might spend Christmas behind bars. Christmas blows anyway. Right ok, blowing the thing up may be a bit extreme, so why not phone a few local friends and block him/her in? That way they will have to come to your door and explain themselves.
Dave17
I would have thought the police would be your best bet, i cant imagine many council places being open at 7pm on a sunday. Mind you, the police will appear well after he's absconded.
couv3z
police, they can contact the DVLA... get the resitered details and contact the owner(s) happen to my sisters husband
Jake
I would also put up a clamping sign on my driveway to make it lawful The car isn't parked on his driveway, it's in the road. You can put up whatever signs you like - you still can't legally clamp it.
Dash Rendar
This sh1t happens to me all the time. I did ring the police once and they didn't give a toss. Surely there must be some law against obstructing private property...
JamieP
Set it on fire, that should get his attention.

JamieP
I was talking with a woman that had this problem and she told me that if they are obstructing you getting on your property then its an offence, if you are already parked there and they block you in no offence has been committed:search: She could have been talking total bollox mind. I know that stopping you being able to get onto or off your property is an offence but I couldn't remember which way round it was.
JamesG
Give the car a shake to set the alarm off, if it's got one. Then hopefully the owner will appear.
Holden1989
Right ok, blowing the thing up may be a bit extreme, so why not phone a few local friends and block him/her in? That way they will have to come to your door and explain themselves. is what i would do try living where i do, lets just say you know when the school run is on failing that leave a shitty note explaining that you have taken his numberplate and car details and if he does it again you will torch it
Vicky
Just ask them politely not to park there again if you see them, it may just be a one off?
Havard
Bury your foot in the passenger door and see if the car is alarmed. The owner will be..!! H.
grahamc
I would also put up a clamping sign on my driveway to make it lawful I dont have a clamp, so.... Douse the thing in petrol and spark it. That should do the trick, although you might spend Christmas behind bars. Christmas blows anyway. Right ok, blowing the thing up may be a bit extreme, so why not phone a few local friends and block him/her in? That way they will have to come to your door and explain themselves. petrol.... hmmmm, maybe a little extreme! I did consider going out there with a hose pipe to water the garden and his car! I was talking with a woman that had this problem and she told me that if they are obstructing you getting on your property then its an offence, if you are already parked there and they block you in no offence has been committed:search: She could have been talking total bollox mind. Animal
I have the same problem. The flat I live in has a private car park which is fenced off with no parking signs and many times I've had idiots blocking the gate. All bar once I've managed to squeeze around them and get in, giving it a generous boot on the gravel. I have wondered what would happen if there was an emergency & I needed to get out. I'd probably get my mate over in his landy to drag the bastards out the way.
