Nailed!!

Some git has only hammered a nail in the side wall of my new Goodyear F1 255x17. Okay no big deal I've still got my health. Then after ringing around for a replacement, I pump it up and drive carefully off to the Protyre in Gloucester. I'm not doing anything more than 30 mph. As the back ends increasingly feels spongier I stop and pump it back up. To really rub it in, I'm at a traffic light junction waiting to turn right. A black 1.4 Corsa pulls up alongside me and it's like a worst nightmare come true. Lights change and he screams off round the bend and there's nothing I can do except watch him disappear into the sunset. [sHOCK][/sHOCK] Write 1000 times "I am not worthy of owning a Supra." LOL!!

He was probably rushing off to work- so he could personally remove your nail :innocent:

It makes me laugh when Corsa's, Clio's, Saxo's and the rest burn off at the lights  Why bother wasting fuel.

What they do around Liverpool is get right up my arse for a hundred yards or so, wait till the time is right, then overtake me with ease.

This occurs when I am negotiating a mile of speed humps, and REALLY does happen!

A lot..............

Effinell!! Not again. I've found another nail in my tyre. Not amused. This time it's the nearside rear. Fortunately it wasn't in the side wall but rolling tread surface. A trip to my favourite tyre supplier (almost on first name terms) and they repaired it for £15.53 instead of stumping up for a new tyre. Last time I could accept as a one off but this is getting silly. KILL MAME DESTROY!!

No actually, you did the right thing, in other eyes, there a saxo and a supra at the lights...saxo guns it and the supra just goes like normal, what does that say? supra driver is smarter, has a better car and follows the rules

Its so that it sounds like a real figure. If you phone up the same place and ask them to remove a nail from a corsa tyre it would probably cost you a fiver.

I've never taken a car in for tyre problems and been charged any more than that. Its a cash in hand job, not through the books. Thats what the apprentices make a bit of extra dough from. They take turns each dealing with faulty valves and nails in the tyres.

Know a few people that work for kwik-sh*t and its the same in there. You take turns each at MOT's and Tyres as you get some cash in hand lolly.

Its most likely not deliberate, its just road detritus from builders' vans and skip lorries.

YOU WOT!! Well explain how the first nail managed to implant itself 2" up the side wall and then 3 weeks later I find another nail in the other tyre.
