I use a Nuvi for work and like it, considering replacing with that tom Tom that takes traffic into consideration though.
MARTIN R
Tom Tom for me, has always proved reliable, but like all Sat Navs you still need to apply common sense at times

tooquicktostop
I sold my UK Tom Tom as I needed a Euro Sat Nav for a the golf holidays in Spain, I brought a cheap Binatone unit from Tesco, £70 all in but the system is slow and not as user friendly, you get what you pay for IMO
Dnk
Tom Tom 720 with european maps is around £199 Had 1 problem but was fixed straight away at Comet
Aero-M
Always been happy with my tom tom. The 530 and 730 are excellent for the money, They have a neat feature which takes you on a certain route depending on the time of day, to avoid rush hour traffic ect. Jamesy W
I had the Navman S80 till last week till some pikey bandit put my van window in and blagged it. I just bought the Nuvi 250 from Halfords for £99. It's far superior to the Navman and a few hundred quid cheaper as well.

ivan
you've been misinformed... only a small collection of satnavs are half price.. My mistake, it's UP TO 50% off. But it still says ALL SatNavs. http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/categorydisplay_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_categoryId_165508_langId_-

Jamesy W
the S80 deluxe is only £149 now, worth it? I wouldn't say so. I paid £280 for it, thinking that the more expensive unit would be better, it wasn't. I'd go with the Garmin Nuvi 250, I've only used it a couple of times so far but it really is 10 times better than the S80. The S80 is quite dated, I couldn't even find my own street on it and updating the software was a bit confusing. The Garmin is a doddle to use as well, the best point about it is that it shows up mobile speed camera areas. Which could be invaluable.
razza
after speaking with the satn nav monkey at Halfrauds I went for the Tom Tom XL european one, £70 off at £128.99 (£1 less than the reduced UK version ). Will see how well it performs in a couple of weeks when I need it...
