Jake
I think you'll find the insurance on a UKTT is no more than an NA JDM car. Cobblers, for the last 3 years since looking into Supes I have been able to save a minimum of £200 on the UK ( last year it was £600 difference)I'm confused. You're both saying the same thing, aren't you? i.e. that UK specs are cheaper to insure than a NA

Bobbeh
£600 less?!! Thats about the total she should be paying on UK!?
Conrad
I don't know about the UK being cheaper than the N/A. It was with my current insureres Tesco but with Sky it was £150 less to have the N/A. ??? Either way I reckon I'm gonna have the N/A afterall. It means me saving money when buying the car and with the insurance too. I'll probably regret it but hey, i can always upgrade at a later date. Going to see one tomorrow, bloke assures me it's immaculate - had loads done. Manual too Check it out:link - may need 2b registered on Autotrader to view
Bobbeh
You can always upgrade, but why both messing around. If I were you I would just save a bit harder and get the car you REALLY want
Mike
I got my N/A a couple of months ago and got insured by masterquote (http://www.masterquote.co.uk) for £550 - their an 'intermediary' so the policy is with a company called Kinetic, but that's fully comp... I'm 30 by the way, so that could have some bearing? My other half is 24, and I couldn't actually get a quote for her...!? didn't look 'too' hard though....! Before I bought I checked out the insurance on a TT and found it was twice the price of the quote on an N/A... hence buying an N/A On the price, I paid 9k for a 96 'P' plate (import) with no mods, it was a catergory 4 import (5 is brand new).. even has the original stock wheels and 'Supra' mats (mental note to self - get rid of those wheels!) so I would say the 5.5k on a P plate does seem a little on the cheap side..
