Gadget
Can I just say to all supra drivers, Be careful out on the roads as I was sideways twice today round corners and roundabouts. I wasn't even going quick. Drive safe and merry christmas

NatsupraTT
yeah had my car just 3 weeks and very nervous about losing it as i hear these cars are prone to it in the wet or damp but luckily down here in devon we dont get icy roads much but still im very cautious wish summer would hurry back round. Looks like ill be using the Subaru Impreza over winter and my best toy in summer
tooquicktostop
Poor set up, poor tyres maybe, or the dreaded diesel
CJ
Poor set up, poor tyres maybe, or the dreaded diesel Ah yes, the curse of the diesel on the road. That is almost as prevalent as Dyslexia on this forum!
The Restorer
Most of the time people lose it in the wet is when they have cheap the wrong tyres. The only tryes I ran was the Goodyear Eagle F1's and the backend only ever stepped out once in 3 years and that was when I really gave it some on a corner with relatively little road grip. Edited December 3, 2008 by The Restorer took out cheap! (see edit history)

Gadget
wow, never thought people could be so narrow minded. There was me thinking I was being nice and letting people know what the roads are like, obviously its just me being a bad driver and buying cheap tyres (Even though I have never bought cheap tyres). RiceRocket
I've never had trouble winter driving, most skids are caused by going too fast (even 5-10mph). Wet supermarket carparks were my bane.
Gadget
That is where mine happened, I normally remember to be V careful but forgot I've never had trouble winter driving, most skids are caused by going too fast (even 5-10mph). Wet supermarket carparks were my bane.
