Unfortunately it is just a cover for the original one, held on with velcro tape or similar.

Some pics of the shroud + a couple of other bits and bobs. Yes to your question, a couple of small mops & compound + electric drill will see a good finish. Kev.O
Hey kev I still have maybe 2 brake covers, but i seem to remember there being an issue with yours as it is a uk spec which has a different res. Hi Colin I'm changing the res to a j-spec so I'd be interested in the cover please Wanted Linky.
colsoop
ah how much to get them chromed? There is no point chroming stainless steel, you just need to get it polished, i don't think more than 30 minutes would be needed to give a high lustre finish. Any competent polisher shopuld be able to do it for you Jazz. Hay Colin, are you able to polish these at all? obviously the price will be more but just wondering if this is something you would be abel to do? id be interested in the fan shroud and the bottle caps. I don't do the polishing anymore but as above any polisher will be able to get a good result. Hi Colin I'm changing the res to a j-spec so I'd be interested in the cover please Wanted Linky. Ah i see, i have kept one aside for you Kev, you'll have to dust down your polishing kit though bud
