Heater Matrix

Hello all!

I suspect my 95 NA to have an airlock in its matrix as i am no longer getting heat into the cabin. I have checked all the fuses and all are okay.

Last night i parked on a steep slope, engine facing up, and massaged the matric pipes with the rad cap off and the heaters on.

It seems to have done nothing positive, any other ideas?!

MAny thanks, Matt.

There's a valve behind the uppermost (I think) passenger glovebox that diverts heat to the cabin. Listen for a feint whirring sound that lasts about 1 second when you turn the temperature dial up from the minimum.

Otherwise, it may be a case of forcing (don't go crazy with it though!) hose water through the matrix: have a read here --> http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=167977
