dani_r
When that happened to me I had a weird scraping noise when I turned right, it turned out to be one of the clips that holds the brake pad in place against the disc had moved or bent and was touching the disc. I just got a small grinder on the bit of metal and took a small bit off the end, it now clears the disc with no noise! Not sure if this is what's up with yours but if you pull your wheel off, remove the calliper and pads and just check the clearances of all the clips to see if one might be touching. Could be knackered ball joint. When the balljoint went on my old blue car, it squealed horribly. I thought it was power steering problems but turned out to be totally knackered balljoint. When the car was in the air, mechanic got a crowbar under the wheel and it lifted about an inch!
