Self employmeny & illness

I've been self-employed for over 20 years and I've taken 2 days off due to illness (whoopy do )

 

Is this still the case with self-employed types?

How ill do you get and/or are you employed by someone else?

 

Edit: Luckily I'm not a proof reader...employmeny???

Perhaps this could be moved to NWS for honesty etc...

I never get ill really... or if I do I dose up on drugs and plough through like the little soldier I am

I don't get ill really either, apart from the odd sniffle, which I obviously try and pass on to everyone else in the office.

 

I'm still a spring chicken though so I've not been working anywhere near 20 years, but I've never had a day off sick

Self employed and never took a day off for being not well, took plenty off because im lazy though:D

 

In fact i cant remember the last time i was not well, not been to the docs in years.

I take about 3 days a year on average.

When I take them I certainly feel I am justified in doing so.

 

Also carry on answering the phone if its possible.

Well, I hardly get ill, and even when i do, its not so bad that it affects my work or other people. At the moment I have an employer, and it works fine for me like that. May you ahve many more days of good health,and conticues yo hae fun with yorus spellign,

Looks like I will be off tomorrow (after ages) suffering from a fever of some sort
