DannoSupra
Me and a few guys have been busy these past few weeks building a Group N Evo IX GT We stripped her down, got rollcage welded in, the back in the bodyshop for spray the inside, underneath and underbonnet. She's had a brand new engine, new straight cut dog box, new diffs, new props etc etc new Brembo's to fit 15" Gravel Wheels. Proflex Dampers, UnderGuards, Kevlar WheelArches, Flocked dash, Carbon Door Cards, extinguishers etc, all the features of a RallyCar. There's a big list, to much to put down Few piccies - appologies for quality I was on service few weeks ago on local Cambrian Rally on the Denbigh Moores in North Wales, It was blooming freezing. Simon, the driver, did really well to be honest, concidering there were 6 WRC Cars and quite a lot of Group N and Modified Class, he came 5th overall out of 140. Got fastest time last stage! AJI
Looks like a good effort on the build ! My uncle and his best mate have now built 2 EVO 6's. He crashed the first one big style on the 'Tour of Mull' but he is doing much better in the new one. The roll cage looks very similar to the one he has installed. What suspension are you using ? The EVO6's go well on the Reiger(sp?) setup (for gravel rally that is).

Chris Wilson
Who did the cage, it's rather nice (as is all the rest, a few bob, and many hours spent there...) Good luck with it.
DannoSupra
I can't remember who did the cage, might have been a Hockley one. I'll find out As for the suspension, it's ProFlex. we had Reiger on the Fiesta ST last year. The n/s/f shocker on the evo is leaking already, after 1 event! And with bodythinning/weight saving, all we did was no interior, obviously, and no sound deadning, carbon panels, oohhh and redone the whole wiring loom, stripping off whats not needed, that was a bit time consuming The cars' doing really good to be fair, we had a spin off in one stage and kinda stamped on the throttle in anger, snapped the throttle stop and streched the cable, so service we had to recrimp the cable by the throttle body to get some sort of throttle responce out of the hairpins. Took some time to find out what was wrong, thought it was the ecu to start off with, its got a GEMS Board and Different Mapping, that made a real difference Anyway, cheers for the comments! I hope i can put as much effort and money in to my Supra when im ready
